Abstract
The Turks, It has created a unique culture by blending the accumulations of civilizations that have passed down from thousands of years of history of Anatolia with their own values. Weaving is one of the traditional handicrafts that have created a rich variety from region to region in the Anatolian geography. Set in history- Turks living as nomads do not weave with their cultural accumulation from Central Asia to Anatolia, from the tent, cedar, from the carpet, to the rug, from the sack, saddlebag, used in many places from clothing to cover. Weaving, which has an important place in the girl’s dowry, is one of our traditional values that have preserved their functionality in all areas of life from birth to death.
Weaving, which has an important place in Turkish handicrafts, Today it is carried out in many parts of Anatolia. Ağrı, Aksaray, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, Gümüşhane, Isparta, Kayseri, Kırşehir, Kocaeli, Manisa, Muğla, Niğde, Samsun, Sivas, Tokat, Uşak and Yalova Like many of our provinces are the centers of weaving. Hand weaving, in human-powered benches, It is a process based on manual labor. Today, The production of rugs, albeit decreasingly, cicim, sumak, sini(zili) All of the weavings, each of which are named with different techniques, are called flat weavings.
In this study, Ankara, Çamlıdere, Avdan In the quarter (village), the textiles that were produced in the past will be investigated. For this purpose, written and virtual resources related to the subject will be scanned, On-site observations and interviews will be carried out and the products found will be examined and evaluated in line with the information obtained from the local people. Work, This cultural value, which is about to be forgotten due to the lack of weaving production today, is important in terms of recording and transferring it to future generations.
